New to AI?

Your first 7 days with Claude

30โ€“45 minutes a day. One focus per day. By Sunday you'll be more effective with AI than most people on your team.

Day 1 โ€” Monday

Account setup & first prompt

Create your Claude account, set Custom Instructions with your job title and context, then send your first structured prompt using the Role โ†’ Task โ†’ Format template.

โฑ 25 min

Day 2 โ€” Tuesday

Use it on real work

Pick an actual task from today โ€” an email, a document to summarize, a decision to think through. Don't practice on fake examples. Use your real work.

โฑ 30 min

Day 3 โ€” Wednesday

Set up your first Project

Create a Project for your main work context. Paste your team brief, recurring context, and tone preferences. Then have a full work session inside it.

โฑ 35 min

Day 4 โ€” Thursday

Practice the self-critique loop

Get an answer you're not thrilled with, then send the self-critique prompt to push Claude to improve it. Do this three times. Notice the pattern in what changes.

โฑ 20 min

Day 5 โ€” Friday

Build your first reusable prompt

Identify one task you do every single week. Build and save a prompt template for it. This will save you hours over the next year.

โฑ 30 min

Day 6 โ€” Saturday

Explore a second tool

Try the same task in ChatGPT if you've been using Claude, or vice versa. Notice the differences โ€” each has real strengths the other lacks.

โฑ 40 min

Day 7 โ€” Sunday

Design your weekly AI workflow

Write down the 3 recurring tasks AI now handles. Plan which track to study next. Block a 20-minute daily AI session on your calendar.
